World Theatre Day 2015
“The director of “Aha!” with his cast”
Likikiri’s Elfatih Atem directed the play “Aha!” for World Theatre Day 2015, which took place in Nyakuron Cultural Center.
“Aha!” juxtaposed an urban man reading a newspaper aloud with rural migrants approaching the town and building a shelter out of found materials including bamboo and tarp. The stage served as the “town” and the migrants arrived from all corners of the theatre space, carrying their belongings with them.
